The stunning sea view from the Kinabalu King Room made every evening a visual delight, especially during sunset. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a variety of options that included delicious cured meats. the beach was somewhat littered, and the pool area felt overcrowded at times. some facilities showed signs of wear and could use maintenance to enhance the appeal.

Enjoyable stay in beautiful Kota Kinabalu 🌅
We scored a sweet upgrade to a pool view room, lekker for the kids! Breakfast spread was solid and I must mention, the ice cream bar was a hit! Staff were friendly and helpful, made our experience special.
Only downside was the beach had a bit of rubbish around. Not ideal for a proper swim as the red flag was up.

I enjoyed the view from my room overlooking the sea. The breakfast offered various options. One morning, I tried fresh fruit and local specialties, which I appreciated. The staff welcomed us warmly. We took a boat trip to an island, and the experience was enjoyable. As a couple from Wales, I valued the chance to relax by the serene waters after exploring local markets.
The beach had litter, and the pool felt crowded with children.

The stunning sea view was breathtaking, yet the food quality disappointed us.

Facility management seems like a distant dream. the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, requiring multiple calls to get it fixed. The bathroom had a persistent flooding issue after each shower, and the ocean view promised felt more like glancing at a garden. Waiting over half an hour for room check-in left a sour taste, especially since we arrived on time.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding a personal touch to our stay. The swimming pools were spacious and beautifully designed, allowing us to relax and enjoy stunning views of the islands. The dining options were tasty, though a bit lacking in variety.
Some areas of the hotel showed signs of wear, such as chipped paint and dust.

Great views and nice staff
We had an awesome stay with stunning sea views from our big, clean room. The staff were super friendly, and the horizon lounge was a chill spot to unwind. Food was decent, loved the snack bar! Just wish the room could've been cleaner, there was dust and spider webs around. Still, a memorable trip overall!
